Welcome to Gill's Creative Writing Workshop

Introduction and Workshop Overview – 5 minutes 

Let's begin by getting to know each other. I'll share a bit about my journey in the world of writing and what has brought me here today to guide you through this workshop. Then, we'll go over what we’ll be doing during our time together, outlining the activities and objectives we aim to achieve.

Warm-Up Writing Exercise & Reflection – 15 minutes

We'll start with a quick warm-up writing exercise to get our creative juices flowing. Afterwards, we'll take a few minutes to reflect and share our thoughts on the process, setting the stage for deeper exploration.

Core Writing Session – 20 minutes 

Our main focus will be on connecting to our inner resources and exploring how writing can serve as a powerful tool for self-discovery and expression. You’ll have three prompts to choose from, allowing you to write about what resonates most with you. This is your time to dive deep and let your creativity flourish.

Participant Reflections – 15 minutes

After the core writing session, we'll come together to reflect on our experiences. This is a valuable opportunity to share insights, discuss challenges, and celebrate breakthroughs with your fellow writers.

Summary of Benefits – 5 minutes

To conclude, I'll summarize the benefits of creative writing, highlighting how it can enrich your life and enhance your well-being. We’ll reinforce the key takeaways from our workshop and inspire you to continue your writing journey.

Gill Clark – Profile – July 2024

Gill is a retired Homeopath, Swimming Teacher and Magnetic Therapy Consultant. Her homeopathy training dramatically changed her view of what real wellbeing is and her journey to real health started then. She is married with adult children and grandkids. Gill has a passion for life and enjoys the outdoors, especially open water swimming and dabbling in gardening, walking, singing and musical pursuits too.

Gill loves sharing her life experience and professional wisdom with open-minded people keen to take some responsibility for their health. She is writing her first book about the challenges of life women face and how to manage them positively with her 'natural health treasure chest'. She is enthusiastic about the benefits of journalling and creative writing as a simple aid to our inner wisdom and runs regular creative writing workshops. Scribing with pen and paper unleashes our inner strengths and can have a positive impact on our well-being.
