About the Event

At Roots of Wellness, we believe using essential oils is an empowering experience. Often, when we feel unwell at home, it can be disheartening, as we’ve become culturally dependent on external advice to identify the cause or solution. Our goal is to help you feel confident in using essential oils in your home or workplace. Through education, we show that you don’t need a formal qualification in aromatherapy to benefit from doTERRA oils—just the right knowledge and experience.

This workshop is for those who have never had a doTERRA account or haven’t placed an order in six months or more. We introduce you to the world of essential oils, helping you make them an easy, effective part of your everyday routine.

Scientific research supports the wide range of benefits that essential oils offer, and ongoing studies continue to explore their potential. They are known for their antibacterial + ant catarrhal +antidepressant +antifungal + anti-infectious + anti-inflammatory + antimicrobial + antiparasitic + anti-rheumatic + antiseptic + antiviral + antispasmodic + analgesic + and immune-stimulating properties.  The Top Ten Oils we cover in this workshop make up the Family Essentials Kit: Frankincense, Lemon, Lavender, Peppermint, Oregano, and Melaleuca, along with doTERRA's proprietary blends: On-Guard, Zengest, Deep Blue, and Air.

At Roots, we teach from experience. In our beginner’s workshop, our goal is for you to leave feeling confident in your ability to use essential oils effectively. We cover essential oil sourcing techniques, explaining why purity is essential (excuse the pun). We also explore how to safely use oils for all ages—from babies and children to teens—as well as during pregnancy. Additionally, we look at the emotional and physical benefits of essential oils and cover the three main application methods: topical, aromatic, and internal.

We also share practical recipes that you can create from the Family Essentials Kit and tasters like our favourite cacao and peppermint smoothie or creating a simple, non-toxic cleaning product with just one or two essential oils and distilled water, using frankincense, lemon or lavender for calming or meditation.

With these essential oils, you’ll have everything you need to begin your holistic wellness journey, becoming your own first responder, caregiver, and holistic parent.

We look forward to seeing you at Roots xx
